Sleigh Ride in Tallinn

There is no metaphor here. This is the first thing I did in Tallinn, Estonia at the Black Nights Film Festival: a sleigh ride through an ancient forest on the Gulf of Finland. It was one of the many strange and incredible official events of a really fantastic film festival. If you ever have the chance, go! Look out for the driver towards the end...

Is there nowhere I won't go to pimp my movie?

Sitting on the runway in Newark the day after Thanksgiving in coach surrounded by screaming children, en route to Estonia on an 8 hour flight. The good news is I have 3 Valium. The bad news is I have to deplane in Copenhagen and recheck my bag on Estonian Air and then fly another 2 hours.

The lovely Gillian Jacobs as "Helena" and yes, that's Lee Tergesen's ear. The man gives a performance even with his earlobe.
